   CONSCIOUS RESURRECTION

Aren't We So Blessed?

Aren't we so blessed to live within a breath of holy air,
Where all distances are crossed by a whisper of prayer?
Could the spirit be more kin than to bring such beauty to life,
That we might inherit glory in a single moment of great light?
Baptized by the silver spray and washed from stem to stern,
Initiated by the wind, our hearts awake and burn.
Then, joining the sacred ceremony, forgetting petty concern,
We sail away into the clouds, vowing never to return;
For who could love us more, than the one who answers prayer,
To fill our souls with longing with just a breath of holy air?
