TRAVELER, KEEP ON WALKING

There is a park in every heart, at the center, a golden flame;
And once you have seen its glory, you will never be the same.
For it makes you dream of great angels, embracing the bluest sky.
And though your feet are bound to the ground, there your spirit will fly.
So, my friend, keep on moving, and one day you'll find the way,
To the little park within your heart, and there, you ever will stay;
Wandering in the sunshine, listening to birds singing above,
Walking far beyond the weather, in the great garden of holy love.
In fact, you can go there right now; just close your eyes and breathe,
And soon you will feel the spirit rising like the sap in the holy trees.
It will guide you to a little trail, which leads to an even higher place,
Where the light is bending near, to touch your heart with grace.
Then, you will become the flame, shining in the little park,
And a rose will open its petals, deep within your sacred heart.
